Seagate 18TB Muti-Actuator enterprise hard drive provides excellent output performance of storage system in 8K production environment. In the past, the bandwidth that required the use of 12 or even 16 hard drives can now be achieved with only 8 Seagate Exos MACH.2 2X18, which greatly improves the overall cost performance ratio.
Take Gamma Carry as an example, configured RAID Level 5 with eight 2X18 HDDs, the 8K performance test results using this hard drive are shown in the figure below:
